In an inhospitable environment such as Afar, Ethiopia, water is one of the most valuable resources for a community to have access to. In Tirtiri village there is an abundance of water, thanks to the Development work of Friendship Support Association, one of Tearfunds partners in Ethiopia. FSA have helped the community of Tirtiri to install a Borehole and Water pump to allow their village easy, abundant access to clean water.
As we approach COP26, there are a lot of opportunities to take action both to combat the climate crisis and to work to build active resourcing and support for communities most affected by the climate crisis. Click on any of the links below for starting points to get involved:
