The Story
The joy of having clean and safe water on tap in one of the hottest places on Earth. This village has a solar powered borehole. This borehole means that the community there can get enough water to meet their needs and it shows in the children and their smiles. The women are saved from dangerous and arduous overnight walks to collect water. Water is a precious resource which is sadly becoming scarcer in some of the already most fragile parts of the world.
Working for a sustainable future must centre on the people most affected by the climate crisis, but the weight of changing the world can’t fall on them alone.
